- Creation of letter of intent packets for Dollar General approval to include the creation of financial proformas, analysis of financial performance, communication with field team (as necessary) regarding performance/maintenance items, etc. and other items as necessary
- Maintain tracking of all deals after LOI submission with regard to status and deal structures so as to facilitate appropriate reporting
- Communicate deal approval statuses to vendor
- Create Lease Modification Agreements and any corresponding Memorandums of Lease to accurately reflect the deal terms for approved project, provide to Dollar General for approval
- Tracks all documents through review and execution phases to ensure deals are moved through the system, uploading appropriate documents, collecting signatures, while following all necessary policies.
- Upon execution of documents by both parties then the following: Provide copy to vendor for landlord files Enter into Dollar General system for abstraction and reporting Ensure document and supporting file information is forwarded to be imaged into Dollar General's archival system
- Process vendor invoices for team members.
- Produce letter of intent packets and approval packages for deals in a neat and professional manner.
- Prepare high-level emails and presentations to keep team up to date on deals and manage all email communications between retailer and vendor.
- Calculate and track rent savings opportunities.
- Take on new projects and duties as assigned by team.
- Actively participate in conference calls with vendor and retailer to ensure that questions are being addressed to keep deal on track and moving through the appropriate phases. What We're Looking For:
- Two to four years of prior experience in real estate or as an administrative assistant.
- Preferred: A two or four-year degree in business.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas.
- Essential attributes: Punctuality and reliability.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
- Capability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to support multiple staff members.
- Experience in accounting and bookkeeping a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with the retail industry.
- Self-motivated and capable of executing tasks accurately with minimal supervision.
