(SOLAR) Senior Quality Assurance Manager
Location:

We are seeking a diligent Quality Assurance Manager (QA Manager) to uphold the superior standards of our client's solar construction projects.
The QA Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all work and materials align with contractual specifications, guaranteeing exceptional quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle.
This role requires overseeing construction activities, coordinating with stakeholders, and providing technical guidance to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership qualities, possess a keen eye for detail, and bring substantial experience in quality control to contribute to our continued success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and inspect all electrical and mechanical installations during construction.
Deliver comprehensive QA/QC reports to offsite teams, highlighting potential issues and recommending solutions.
Collaborate with commissioning agents to uphold industry standards and practices.
Verify the installation of electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
Maintain accurate project schedules and track activities, reporting any discrepancies.
Provide support and training to subcontractors as needed.
Conduct source inspections of materials and make recommendations on-field issues.
Establish quality control objectives and ensure their implementation.
Assist project managers with various project-related tasks from planning to closeout.
Maintain proficiency in project blueprints and specifications, making adjustments as necessary.
Ensure compliance with contract specifications and regulatory requirements.
Stay abreast of the latest construction technologies relevant to the industry.
Communicate work progress, issues, and solutions to project stakeholders.
Cultivate professional relationships with clients and potential clients.
Train and develop QA inspector team
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
5-7 years of experience in construction, with a focus on quality control.
Thorough understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in commercial solar projects.
Familiarity with industry-standard installation practices for commercial solar systems.
Previous experience in solar, renewable energy, or electrical fields is advantageous.
NABCEP certification preferred; willingness to obtain within 2 years if not already possessed.
First Aid, CPR, and OHSA 30 certifications preferred.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and SharePoint.
Valid driver's license with a clean record.
Authorization to work in the United States.
