    Daltile is looking for an exceptional Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will engage in various tasks including conducting weekly sales calls, reports, and market analysis for top accounts in the region.

    Job Title: Sales Representative

    • Increase market share and sales for Dal-Tile SBU in the specified region/area.
    • Expand the account base by servicing existing customers and through cold calling.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Conduct weekly sales calls, including servicing existing customers and cold calling potential ones (approx. 4-5 cold calls per week).
    • Prepare weekly sales and call reports.
    • Develop monthly sales call strategy and travel calendar based on the strategy.
    • Perform area market analysis of top accounts, including dealers, contractors, and builders.
    • Research area market data to determine sales strategy.
    • Increase market share and sales volume while maintaining product margin goals.
    • Complete necessary forms for cold calls resulting in a sale.
    • Utilize negotiation skills to place displays in customer showrooms.
    • Follow up with clients via phone calls, letters, or emails.
    • Provide product knowledge seminars to customers.
    • Utilize reporting tools to achieve sales objectives.
    • Perform other duties as necessary.

    Experience and Requirements:

    • High school diploma and some college preferred.
    • Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes/email.
    • Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
    • 4 years of sales experience.
    • Customer service experience is a plus.
    • Ability to work independently and in an unstructured environment.

    Competencies:

    • Self-motivated and able to work under little supervision.
    • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Independent judgment, time management, and organizational skills.

    Other Job Information:

    • Physical requirements include standing, walking, reaching, and other activities.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
