    Position Overview: Senior Project Engineer/Project Engineer - Cybersecurity

    • Work Model: This role follows a hybrid work model. The employee will report on-site at Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo for at least 3 days a week, with additional onsite presence based on customer requirements.
    • Responsibilities:
      • Engage proactively with stakeholders in the space and cybersecurity domains to develop security architecture strategies.
      • Lead the development of cybersecurity policies for space systems.
      • Coordinate and advise on cybersecurity initiatives for SSC/CIO.
      • Lead Aerospace engineering staff and project teams for specific projects.
      • Stay updated on DoD and DAF security regulations for system design.
    • Requirements for Project Engineer:
      • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
      • Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience with at least 4 years in cybersecurity.
      • Knowledge of cybersecurity strategies, IAM, risk assessment, and NIST frameworks.
      • Experience in cybersecurity solution evaluation and fielding.
      • Ability to travel domestically about 10%.
      • Must hold or be eligible to obtain security clearances.
    • Additional Requirements for Senior Project Engineer:
      • Minimum of 12 years of professional experience with 8 years in cybersecurity.
      • Practical application of security concepts to design.
      • Experience managing multiple projects and technical personnel.

      • Hold or be eligible for specific security clearances.
