- Timely and accurate Preparation of Monthly Accounts and Financial Statements with GAAP compliance, responsible for the month-end close and reporting process.
- Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting of balance sheets and ledger maintenance.
- Ensure all G/L Transactions are accurate and detailed to facilitate reporting.
- Implement appropriate accounting processes and internal controls as needed.
- Provide support to management in the financial management process and distribute financial reports as appropriate.
- Tracks and processes financial data (may include requisitions, invoices, expenses, check requests) and ensures audit compliance.
- Develop tools and create standards for tracking and monitoring financial processes for department-specific financials and budgets and mentors and coaches finance staff.
- Assist with Financial Audits
- Assist with the preparation of the Annual Budget.
- Assist with systems development.
- Cross Training into other areas of the full accounting process
- As the company evolves, and continues to grow, so will this role.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
- At least 3-5 years' experience working in a business and accounting role, with experience in preparing Financial Statements.
- GAAP: 3-5 years' (Required)
