Salary: 73,500 USD Annually

The referenced salary is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Total compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.

ABOUT THE TEAM:
Joining the ALM Events team is a dynamic role.

You will work with co-workers who mirror your task as well as the marketing team, operations and sales team sharing ideas to succeed.

We are sales professionals focused on providing our clients with opportunities to create strong brands and win more new business by having the opportunity to:

Speak and Exhibit at ALM's Executive Conferences and trade shows throughout the US, Europe, Canada, South America, Australia and Asia.


Responsibilities:


  • Sell trade show booths, sponsorships, conference speaking and business development sponsorship opportunities
  • Sell sponsorships for multiple ALM Events
  • Develop and close new business meet revenue goal
  • Oversee the sales process from initial contact through the event stage
  • Build solid business relationships with accounts
  • Create and maintain database of potential leads in Salesforce
  • Create and present creative sponsorship opportunities to meet client needs
  • Coordinate payments
  • Provide ongoing support during shows

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 24 years sales experience, event sales experience in legal a plus
  • Topnotch strategic and tactical selling talent
  • Establish list of client relationships with law firms and legal vendors
  • Ability to establish relationships at all levels of the organization including the most senior levels
  • Effective written, verbal and presentation skills essential
  • Proactive, independent, tenacious and goaloriented
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel, Word, Salesforce and PowerPoint a big plus
  • High energy and selfmotivated
  • Excellent phone skills/presentation and the ability to develop relationships
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • The ability to work independently and as a team
  • A strong sales closing ability, the desire to succeed and a proven record of success is a must
  • Able to succeed in an energetic, fastpaced environment
