    Job Description

    We are looking for a strong Tax and Accounting Manager to join our family of accountants.

    As a great Tax and Accounting Manager, you will get to work in a close team environment, work with friendly clients, have as much passion for business as for life, and have lots of room for opportunity in a growing firm.


    We are an innovative, established and rapidly growing CPA firm with an immediate position for a great Tax and Accounting Manager.


    Your responsibilities will be:
    Communicate complex tax and accounting concepts to clients
    Reviewing client QuickBooks files
    Building financial statements (and explaining them to clients)
    Preparing various tax reports including payroll tax and sales tax.

    Preparing Tax returns:

    • Individual 1040
    • Partnerships and Corporate Returns

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting;
    • CPA or CPA Candidate or Enrolled Agent or Experience
    • Significant QuickBooks experience
    • 5+ years tax preparation experience (1040, 1065, 1120 and 1120'S)
    • Experience responding to IRS notices
    • Ability to prepare tax returns & projections
    • Ability to prepare payroll & property tax reports
    • Full understanding of financial statement preparation and bank account reconciliation
    • Ability to mentor and guide lower level staff
    • Strong organization, communication, customer service, and presentation skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, team oriented environment
    • Ability to maintain a positive working relationship with clients and coworkers
