    Job Summary:

    As an Account Manager your primary responsibility is to exceed customer expectations in relation to professionalism and clear communication. Performance for the position will also be measured by your ability to retain current account business while achieving new business revenue goals. In this position you will work closely with the NAPPCO outside sales team. Regularly providing quote support, visiting accounts, and growing client relationships.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Drive results through calls and activities designed to build new business, grow existing accounts, and retain customers
    • Respond to inbound sales related phone calls and emails
    • Focus on attention-to-detail and accuracy while meeting deadlines
    • Possess excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and interpersonal
    • Strong level of personal organization, commitment, and problem-solving skills
    • Willingness and ability to be flexible and adapt to changing job requirements
    • Interacts well with employees at all levels within the organization, able to build and maintain positive working relationships
    • Work closely with the sales group to ensure that all opportunities and activities are updated and managed consistently within the CRM system
    • Perform other duties as assigned or necessary

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience in customer service or inside sales is required
    • Must have strong phone presence and listening skills
    • Ability to work on multiple tasks and deliver results with aggressive timelines
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple concurrent quotes, projects, and orders
    • Capable of working in a high-paced environment with strict deadlines
    • Experience working with CRM systems

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
    • Ability to type 40 WPM or greater
    • Basic understanding of fastener types and applications
    • Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities
    • Proven negotiation, customer service, planning, organizational and time management skills
    • Strong analytical, critical reasoning and problem-solving skills needed to proficiently interpret results
    • Bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing or Business from an accredited college or university preferred
