- Read, interpret, and follow project plans, specifications, permits, and contract requirements to lead project team to successful delivery of the project.
- Perform accurate project revenue and cost financial forecasting to ensure profitability and evaluate risk.
- Coordinate with estimators to establish budgeting and gain understanding of the project and bid.
- Coordinate efforts with field superintendents to establish schedule and resources to execute the project.
- Recognize and be able to price minor change orders.
- Draft subcontracts and purchase orders, and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with clients and their staff to develop long term partnerships by providing exceptional customer service.
- Manage multiple small to mid size projects for multiple clients simultaneously.
- Ensure safety, environmental, and quality requirements are met and documented.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in underground wet utilities for self-performing, at-risk, contractor.
- Knowledge of water, sewer, storm drain, asphalt trench paving, minor concrete structures and flatwork, and grading practices.
- Knowledge and understanding of union agreements and prevailing wage issues.
- Accuracy of paramount importance.

General Summary
This position is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and outcome of underground wet utility and utility plant construction projects up to $10 million in size.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Directly related work experience in underground construction can be substituted.
