- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for product releases and launches, collaborating closely with product management to ensure alignment with product capabilities and market needs.
- Work hand-in-hand with the sales teams to equip them with the necessary tools and messaging, enabling effective product promotion and customer engagement.
- Lead the creation of marketing plans that highlight the unique value propositions of the client's products, driving awareness, and adoption across targeted vertical markets.
- Execute product positioning across all content including website, newsletter, social media and more.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, to ensure seamless product development, launch, and post-launch activities.
- Craft compelling product messaging and positioning documents that resonate with target audiences and differentiate the products in the marketplace.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles, with a proven track record in product marketing, product positioning, marketing strategy development, and executing successful product launches.
- Extensive experience working with ecommerce platforms, content management systems, or product information management solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative and effective marketing plans that drive product awareness and customer engagement.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the capacity to turn market insights into actionable marketing and product strategies.
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with sales teams to support product promotion and customer acquisition efforts.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of crafting and conveying compelling product narratives to various audiences.
- Business acumen, writing skills, and content editing skills.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in ecommerce software or SaaS marketing roles.
- A technical background, offering a deeper understanding of the products, markets and customer needs.
