    Starting salary: $90,000 annually

    Adult Services:

    In search of a dynamic leader with a passion for adult care and treatment for our Adult Services Outpatient Department. The Senior Program Director is responsible for the oversight, development and management of our Adult Services Department which consists of our Adult Outpatient Clinic as well as a robust array of peer support and care coordination services. Must have excellent managerial, administrative, and clinical skills. Expertise in substance use treatment modalities and harm reduction interventions is critical. The role requires the capacity to assess relevant data, the community and the services needed to inform and develop new business models for care. Provides direct supervision of supervisory staff, ensures compliance with all licensing and contractual obligations and the relationship with community leaders and stakeholders. Qualified candidates will lead a talented multidisciplinary team.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    1. Provides supervision of program supervisors and other staff as assigned.
    2. Provides leadership, training, and day-to-day management of the new and existing staff in assigned programs.
    3. Manages recruitment, selection and hiring of program staff. Provides orientation, supervision, and evaluation of staff, including supporting and monitoring of staff development, as well as addressing performance concerns as needed.
    4. Monitors, encourages, and supports management of productivity.
    5. Coordinates and facilitates rounds/group supervision, and other multidisciplinary or team meetings.
    6. Completes documentation, reports, grant paperwork and any other documentation and reports required by agency and program policies and funding sources accurately and on time.
    7. Works as a team member with other senior level staff to professionally respond to staff, client and agency needs.
    8. Collaborates with other program and agency staff to ensure integration of services and development of an internal system of care. Provides intra-agency consultation services, including case-centered consultation, program development and/or grant proposals, development and implementation of training initiatives and consultation relations to client and psychological services.
    9. Contributes to agency organizational life by participating in agency-wide task forces, committees, or problem-solving teams.
    10. Partners with supervisor to identify areas and develop plans for personal growth.
    11. Participates in planning and developing agency policies and procedures.
    12. Contributes to agency visibility and development of community linkages by representing The Village in community groups or committees as requested.
    13. All other duties as assigned.
    Experience and Skills
    EDUCATION
    • Educational Requirements: Master's or Doctoral Level clinician in the Human Services field.
    EXPERIENCE
    • Experience Level: Must have significant clinical experience working with adults and populations serviced by The Village and be culturally sensitive and responsive."
    • Supervisory and management experience: Ability to lead and manage multiple programs and adapt supervisory style to support the professional.
    • Personal Characteristics: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required. Must be a good team player and leader, is flexible in approach to job and others, insightful, self-reflecting and aware of impact on others, patient and empathic, shows good judgment in pressured situations.
    • Cultural Competency: Familiarity, sensitivity, and/or experience working with diverse populations. Sensitivity to the impact of race, gender, sexuality, culture, language, and spirituality on mental health treatment.
    • Physical abilities: Physically able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations. These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the abilities to function safely in a therapeutic situation.
