Director of Learning Programs

Job Summary:

The Director Of Learning Programs is responsible for the overall quality of guest and employee experience within all programs of the Learning Programs.

This role will implement a plan to grow the stature of the program while creating a professional and fun atmosphere.

This person reports to the Director Of Business Operations. Enjoy a family season pass with up to 5 immediate family members as a benefit of employment

Hours:
Varying -Weekends and Mid-Week School Group Hours during the ski season (Dec 1 to Apr 1)

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Oversee the hiring, training, and certification of instructors. Conduct preseason clinics for instructors
Oversee the administration of the Learning and After School programs
Organize, plan and execute a robust after school program with local communities
Nurture and maintain relationships with school groups and other learning partners
Create uniform check in and check out processes for school groups
Work with Marketing and Sales to develop a streamlined process for customers to purchase and schedule lessons
Monitor and or assist with work schedules for ski and snowboard instructors
Assist with and monitor the payroll process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of instructor compensation
Promptly handle problems and complaints that arise during daytoday operation of all

Learning programs and take disciplinary action if required

Successfully mediate emotionally charged situations with employees and guests
Coordinate and cooperate with other departments daily
Serve as a ski or snowboard instructor as needed
Order, maintain and issue uniforms
Prepare Ski School learning props such as cones, brushes etc used for instruction in the Learning Area

$ $25.00 per hour
