About the Job:
This position is all about overseeing the Promotions Coordinators. If you're up for managing a team, dealing with creative collateral, and ensuring everything runs smoothly for events and promotions, this could be the role for you.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the Promotions Coordinators, from hiring to coaching
- Prepare and issue disciplinary actions when needed
- Ensure all creative collateral is on point and within budget
- Keep everything up-to-date and timely for our guests
- Develop displays and fulfill entertainment needs and contracts
- Stay active on social media platforms and engage with guests
- Update and maintain website content
- Collaborate with the creative agency on brand specifications
- Assist all departments with their collateral needs
- Handle purchase requisitions and payments for marketing and entertainment
- Enter exclusions and suspensions into the database as required
- Maintain staffing levels based on business demand
- Assist in creating effective events and promotions to maximize revenue
- Execute events, promotions, and giveaways to ensure guest satisfaction and compliance
- Complete documentation for event winners
- Draft rules of submissions for review and submission
- Issue complimentary in line with approved comp matrix
QUALIFICATIONS:
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A marketing or related degree plus one year of experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to calculate figures and interpret graphs
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Willingness to obtain necessary licensing
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the Promotions Coordinators team
- Handle hiring, training, recognition, and evaluations
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The environment may be lively, and you'll be around cigarette smoke on the casino floor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
You'll mainly be sitting, standing, walking, and using your hands.
