You will thrive in this role if you have

:5-10+ years of related financial analysis and reporting experience and/or trainingA Bachelor's Degree in Finance

or

Accounting. A CPA or MBA in Finance is desiredAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on

Excel & Access ) to extract and manipulate date and solve business issue requestsExposure to report writers and an interest in developing a deeper understanding to produce various reports and solve business issuesExpert comfortability using computer assisted financial resources and report writersSound independent judgment; the ability to manage competing priorities and the ability to multi-taskA professional, cooperative, positive, and flexible attitudeSuperior oral and written communication skillsThe Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the analysis of the firm's offices, departments clients, and individual attorney practices. Prepare reports, charts, and tables as requested for the monthly membership financial package.

This will include gathering and compiling all the necessary dataMaintain and distribute monthly routine reporting for attorneys, Directors and others with the information necessary to make informed business decisions regarding various facets of the firmAssist in the development of the annual budget and reforecast process as neededPrepare and distribute FTE and headcount reportsMaintain timekeeper and employee databasesComplete payroll reconciliation and prepare adjusting entries as neededMake recommendations to firm management on how to move business ahead based on the information generated and analyzedDevelop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as neededPerform other financial analysis and reporting functions as outlined by the Chief Financial Officer or Senior Manager of Financial Analysis and ReportingHarris Beach recognizes everyone has a right to be included.
