- Assists with full cycle recruiting requirements by adhering to Groups recruiting process; designs job descriptions, publishes job postings; builds applicant pool; source potential candidates; schedule interviews.
- Facilitates the summer internship program.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, leave of absences, performance and talent management, and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants and employees, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources with previous experience managing full cycle recruitment.
- Previous experience in commodities is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems (ADP Workforce Now and/or Trakstar).
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work in-office 5 days a week.
