- Manage contractors performing structural, mechanical, and E//I work in an operating chemical plant.
- Responsible for the daily coordination of contractor work along with assisting with the issuance of daily work permits and assuring that the work is performed in a safe manner.
- Manage schedule and quality requirements
- Assist owner in review of any contractor change orders.
- Supervise and oversee the construction phases of complex capital projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, regulations, and safety standards.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, subcontractors, and clients, to ensure effective project execution.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost control measures to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Manage and lead project teams, including construction personnel, and provide guidance and support throughout the construction process.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Candidates must be local to Wickliffe, Kentucky.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in managing industrial chemical plant projects.
- Fluent in Microsoft office software.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Knowledge of Procore software is a plus
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials, as well as industry regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
