- Technical Leadership: Utilize your extensive technical knowledge and mechanical aptitude to lead the machine operators effectively. Collaborate closely with blow fill technicians and machine operators to optimize production processes.
- People Management: Manage and mentor a team of 10+ technical machine operators by providing coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities to enhance team effectiveness.
- Project Management: Oversee facility, utility, and tooling projects. Lead the technical support team to ensure successful project execution and coordinate tooling repairs for improved production efficiency.
- Quality Management: Ensure compliance with quality standards such as cGMP, FDA requirements, and ISO 13485. Drive continuous improvement in quality and operational efficiency.
- Preventative Maintenance Program: Assist in developing and managing a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance program to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Process Development: Contribute to the improvement of manufacturing processes and streamlining operations for a smooth production flow.
- Aseptic Filling or Plastic Injection Molding Expertise: Utilize your knowledge to enhance production processes and guide the team effectively.
- Leadership: Demonstrate strong leadership qualities by challenging processes and providing innovative solutions to drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing, or plant operations management.
- Proven experience in managing people with strong leadership skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working closely with technicians and machines.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and calibration software.
- Understanding of cGMP, FDA requirements, and ISO 13485.
- Extensive knowledge in plastic injection molding, medical device manufacturing, or pharmaceutical processing.
- In-depth expertise in aseptic filling of pharmaceutical products or Blow-Fill-Seal technology is advantageous.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate complex projects.
