Responsibilities:


  • Supports and maintains all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement as well as standard work procedures.
  • Supervises maintenance personnel in maintaining machines and equipment.
  • Plans and maintains maintenance schedules.
  • Provides technical advice and training to production and maintenance personnel.
  • Participates in recommending purchase of new capital equipment, plant layout, production methods, material handling, and parts inventory.
  • Manages the installation of new and used equipment.
  • Coordinates new automation equipment with production personnel.
  • Assists Molding Department in making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
  • Arranges and coordinates outside contractors.
  • Manages the upkeep of recommended building and ground repairs.
  • Authorize to take out of service any machine or equipment that would further deteriorate it upon continued use.
  • Issue request for capital expense for continued plant product and machine maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Two or four year degree from an accredited institution or a minimum of five years' experience in a comparable field.
  • Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Capable of maintaining an attendance record within company guidelines and working required overtime.
  • Read, write and speak English.
  • Past experience / proven ability within the specified disciplines.
  • Negative drug screen test results.
  • Possess basic hand tools.
  • Capable of supervising employees with high mechanical aptitude.
