    Neuberger Berman's Human Capital Management Team is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to support several Operating Platform groups in our NY office. Our HR Business Partners interface closely with client groups in the areas business planning, team building, and employee development.

    Responsibilities:

    • Act as an advisor to managers providing Human Resources expertise in implementing business initiatives, promoting employee engagement, and organizational design.
    • Identify and frame HR issues and solutions with an ability to integrate strategic concepts and essential tactical elements.
    • Play an active role in the development and implementation of HR programs including the on-boarding and assimilation of new employees, performance management, promotions / career development, employee recognition, training & development and the compensation review process.
    • Provide advice and coaching to managers and employees in the area of employee relations.
    • Take a hands-on approach to managing the day-to-day operational aspects of HR including position management, staffing plans, compensation management, headcount activity and turnover.
    Requirements:
    • 10+ years of HR Business Partner experience, including experience in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Expertise in areas such as engagement, performance management, employee relations and compensation planning to support client groups and develop best practices within the team.
    • Effective communicator with the ability to frame issues and solutions.
    • Strong project management skills - needed to manage projects for clients groups as well as initiatives within the HR team.
    • Collaborative, communicative style; strong client relationship management skills and a team orientation.
    • Demonstrated situational and time management flexibility.
    • A hands-on approach and an ability to work within a mid-sized HR team.
    • Technical skills in the areas of MS Office and Workday a big plus.
    Compensation Details

    The salary range for this role is $160,000-$190,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.

    Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, production, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the law.
