    Description

    Job Overview:
    SoftClouds is seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Operations Manager to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of financial and administrative duties.

    The candidate will be responsible for strategizing and planning financial goals and will play a crucial role in leading accounting and financial projects, as well as effectively communicating with management, cross-functional teams, auditors, and other third parties.


    Financial Roles and Responsibilities:
    Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis of financial statements and reports.
    Manage vendor bills in QuickBooks Online, process payments, and generate AP reports such as check register and aging reports.
    Reconcile multiple bank accounts, monitor cash position, and ensure timely correction of transactions.

    Oversee the entire accounts payable and accounts receivable cycle, including setting up vendor information, processing invoices, reviewing approvals, and managing outstanding balances.

    Execute monthly accounting close procedures related to income and expenses, including journal entries and reconciliations.
    Develop and implement new processes to enhance financial efficiency.
    Analyze financial data and present findings to the management team.
    Handle special ad-hoc projects as requested by senior management.

    Administrative Duties:
    Develop and maintain administrative processes.
    Ticketing for employee travel – Flight, Hotel booking, and other arrangements for employee travel.
    Handling international shipments from/to our offices around the world.
    Managing and maintaining corporate insurance for employees.
    Maintain accurate records and remain compliant with all laws and company policies.
    Coordination with external vendors on purchases, doing vendor/purchasing analysis.
    Maintaining an organized and comfortable work environment for all employees, ordering office supplies, and updating inventory.
    Keep an organized file system.

    Required Skills and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
    5+ years of progressive experience in finance management roles, preferably in the technology or software industry.
    Proficiency in general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes.
    Thorough understanding of GAAP and financial statements.
    Hands-on experience with accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
    Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis using Excel including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
    Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.
    Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving business environment, adapting quickly to change and driving continuous improvement.
    Passion for innovation, technology, and driving business growth through strategic financial management.
    Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
