    Title - Desktop Support

    Duration - 5 Working Days

    Location - Multiple location in Georgia

    Job Summary:

    · The Desktop Support Specialist offers technical support to end-users regarding hardware, software, and network problems. They diagnose and fix issues, set up systems, and ensure the smooth operation of computers and peripherals. They also handle the imaging process for new computers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical support for computer systems, software, and hardware issues.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, including network connectivity and software errors.
    • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software.
    • Set up new desktops, laptops, and peripherals, including managing imaging.
    • Perform hardware and software upgrades and replacements.
    • Collaborate with IT team to resolve complex issues.
    • Maintain records of technical issues and resolutions.
    • Offer training and guidance to end-users on computer systems usage.
    • Ensure compliance with company IT security policies.
    • Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Experience as a Desktop Support Specialist or similar role.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting desktops, laptops, operating systems, and software applications.
    • Knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Customer-oriented with a focus on providing quality support.
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
    • Relevant certifications are a plus.
    • Experience managing imaging for new computers.
    • Ability to support users in a diverse computing environment.
