- Regulatory Compliance: Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to our organization's operations.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to develop, review, and update policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate compliance risks.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential compliance issues and develop strategies to address and mitigate risks effectively.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and organized records of compliance-related documentation, including policies, reports, certifications, and training materials.
- Training and Education: Coordinate compliance training programs for employees, providing guidance on regulatory requirements, company policies, and best practices.
- Investigations: Assist in conducting internal investigations into compliance violations or allegations, gathering evidence, and preparing reports as needed.
- Contract Review: Review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regulatory filings, disclosures, and reports to relevant government agencies and regulatory bodies in a timely and accurate manner.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and track regulatory changes and updates, analyzing their impact on the organization and recommending appropriate actions.
- Support Legal Team: Provide administrative and research support including legal research, drafting correspondence, and assisting with case management.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field required; Paralegal certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a compliance paralegal or in a similar role, preferably in a corporate or legal environment.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory compliance principles, including but not limited to, GDPR, HIPAA, SEC regulations, and industry-specific compliance requirements.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and identify compliance issues.
- Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and preparing compliance documentation and reports.
- Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with compliance software or systems preferred.
