    The Opportunity

    OppNet's Career Fluency Partnerships program provides immersive, community-centered, capacity-building partnerships for institutions committed to supporting their students' post-secondary success and career development. Career Fluency Partners have included the New York City Department of Education, the "I Have a Dream" Foundation, John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and Meta.

    This position offers an exciting opportunity to support the Partnerships team across various projects. The Senior Partnerships Coordinator will deliver interactive workshops for Partner staff, liaise with Partner organizations, and develop innovative training materials. There is a strong project management focus, as this role will require the coordination of workflows across multiple team projects and creation of new project management templates on In addition, the Senior Partnerships Coordinator will manage the collection and analysis of the programmatic outcomes across our Partnerships work and be a critical support for our team's ongoing data projects.

    The Senior Partnerships Coordinator will report to the Assistant Director of Partnerships, Data, and Community Learning and be part of a team expanding an innovative program model that will impact thousands of students across the country.

    The Person

The candidate should possess outstanding organization and attention to detail, energy and initiative, the ability to prioritize and complete various tasks on time, and a willingness to work on a wide range of assignments.

    Responsibilities

    The Senior Partnerships Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:

    Partner Training and Support (30%)

    • Facilitate interactive trainings for Partner staff designated to deliver the Career Fluency curriculum.
    • Support in creating training materials (presentation decks, worksheets, etc.) for Partner workshops.
    • Schedule and attend Partner trainings, meetings, site visits, and check-in calls.
    • Coordinate the production of training tools that increase the team's efficiency and effectiveness (i.e. training videos or documentation).
    • Be well-versed in OppNet's entire scope of grades 9-16 Career Fluency curriculum (70+ workshops)
      • Collaborate with partners to adapt the Career Fluency curriculum to meet their unique needs
    • Support with team-wide in-person workshop engagements, including our annual Convening.

    Project Management (30%)

    • Assist with the continued development of new project management templates that lay the groundwork for innovative partnership models on
    • Coordinate project management workflows for various projects across the Partnerships team.
    • Update best practices documentation based on Partnership Team workflow streams.
    • Support with the offboarding and onboarding of two interns every year, which includes:
      • Training interns on the team's processes.
      • Creating presentation materials, data tools, and reports during transitions.

    Data Management and Analysis (25%)

    • Coordinate the timely execution of data collection and reporting for grant deliverables.
    • Manage the collection, recording, and data quality of programmatic and organizational data from all Partners in Salesforce. Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards.
    • Participate in meetings between the Research, Evaluation, and Actionable Insights and Partnerships teams on various data projects that measure our short- and long-term impact.
    • Collaborate with the Finance and Partnerships Team to track and manage incoming partner payments as part of Partnerships contract agreements.
    • Support with the creation of end-of-year reports and other internal reports as needed.
    • Provide additional data collection and analysis support as needed.

    Organizational Learning, Development, and Program Reflection (15%)

    • Participate in organization-wide DEI learning sessions, equity working groups, and optional identity-based affinity groups.
    • Attend weekly team meetings, All Hands meetings, All Staff meetings, team retreats, and annual institution-wide retreats.
    • Develop professional and personal intentions related to OppNet's DEI commitment, incorporated into annual performance reviews.
    Who we are looking for

    Project Management and Stakeholder Management Experience

    • 2-4 years of demonstrated project management experience, which includes experience with project management tools to facilitate workflows across stakeholders;
    • Supportive of team-based, collaborative decision-making;
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
    • Experience with external communication or client-facing work a plus;
    • Experience with virtual and in-person curriculum facilitation a plus;

    Data Experience

    • Strong skills using Google Suite and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
    • Strong experience with quantitative data analysis and ability to synthesize findings;
    • Strong experience with database management and database administration;
    • Experience with Salesforce and/or Gridbuddy a plus;

    Other

    • Knowledge of innovative training methods for building inclusive workplaces a plus;
    • Detail-oriented, can be counted on to produce high-quality work;
    • Adaptable, solutions-oriented, and driven in innovative spaces;
    • Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision;
    • Ability and willingness to travel to partner sites in and outside of NYC to conduct trainings and meetings;
    • Demonstrated belief in OppNet's mission and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) values.
    Requirements to Work for OppNet

    Salary and Benefits

    We take a thoughtful and deliberate approach to generating salary offers that take into account previous work experience, the role you're entering into, and equity within OppNet. Equity is important to us, and it is critical that our compensation approach ensures equity across the organization. Hence, we make every effort to make our first offer our best offer because we want to ensure equity and demonstrate that we value you and your work from day one.

    The hiring salary range for this role is $65,391-$71,000 and will be commensurate with experience.

    At OppNet, eligible employees can enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical coverage (health, dental, and vision), an HRA, a Flexible Spending Account, family leave (up to 100% coverage for twelve weeks), life insurance, and retirement benefits. Full-time employees can participate in our 403(b) retirement benefit program with up to a 3% employer match. Additionally, we offer generous time off from work with up to 58 fully paid non-working days (through a combination of vacation, sick, and holidays).
