    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.

    ProCare Therapy is searching for a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for Arlington Public Schoolsnear Annandale, VA, for the school year. If you are a compassionate and experienced SPED teacher looking to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special needs, we encourage you to apply.

    Job Details:

    • Position: Special Education Teacher
    • Location: Annandale, VA
    • Hours:35+ hours per week

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in the following preferred:
    • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education
    • Virginia SPED Teaching Certification
    • Previous experience in a SPED role is preferred
    • Familiar with IEP's and EDP's

    Responsibilities:

    • MIPA and Life Skills classes
    • Mild-Moderate & Moderate-Severe caseload
    • Teach, work with students, paraprofessionals, families, other staff, take data.
    • Update IEP goals, assess students and write up the assessment report.
    • Write IEPs, attend IEP meetings, present the assessment results.
