Are you an early childhood professional interested in bringing your insight and experience to make a significant impact in the lives children as their LEAD Teacher?

We are ready for an enthusiastic early childhood professional to join the FBCCCDC Faculty Family comprised of long-serving, dedicated professionals who passionately embrace the children for whom they provide care and early learning.

The FBCCCDC embraces and implements a comprehensive, holistic program that supports growth across all developmental domains supporting a child's internal sense of wonder and awe and natural inclination for hand-on exploration and discovery.

Lead Teaching Team Member Qualifications~

BA in Early Childhood Education or related field, an AA in Early Childhood Education (persons with a CDA may also be considered)
Prior classroom experience
Demonstrated knowledge of age and developmentally appropriate practices that are braincompatible
Strong written and communication skills
Willingness to receive and respond to feedback
Willingness and readiness to independently explore study new philosophies and implement new practices consistent with the FBCC CDC

Co-Teaching Team Member Qualifications~

High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior childcare/day care/ camp/ tutoring experience

Our Lead and Co-Teachers work together to~

Create dynamic active and participatory lesson plans
Individualize and differentiate planned and prepared learning for each child
Communicate effectively with parents
Design an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children
Interact with the children to support exploration, discovery and learning
Present expectations appropriate to the child's age and development
Plan and implement activities that develop social and emotion learning
Communicate appropriately, accurately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
Create care and early learning for children cooperatively, collaboratively and collegially
Document and reflectively respond to daily observations of children's interactions with others in the care and early learning setting
Continue learning and implement strategies that promote each child's safety and success
