Are you an early childhood professional interested in bringing your insight and experience to make a significant impact in the lives children as their LEAD Teacher?


We are ready for an enthusiastic early childhood professional to join the FBCCCDC Faculty Family comprised of long-serving, dedicated professionals who passionately embrace the children for whom they provide care and early learning.

The FBCCCDC embraces and implements a comprehensive, holistic program that supports growth across all developmental domains supporting a child's internal sense of wonder and awe and natural inclination for hand-on exploration and discovery.

Lead Teaching Team Member Qualifications~

  • BA in Early Childhood Education or related field, an AA in Early Childhood Education (persons with a CDA may also be considered)
  • Prior classroom experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of age and developmentally appropriate practices that are braincompatible
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Willingness to receive and respond to feedback
  • Willingness and readiness to independently explore study new philosophies and implement new practices consistent with the FBCC CDC
Co-Teaching Team Member Qualifications~

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior childcare/day care/ camp/ tutoring experience
Our Lead and Co-Teachers work together to~

  • Create dynamic active and participatory lesson plans
  • Individualize and differentiate planned and prepared learning for each child
  • Communicate effectively with parents
  • Design an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children
  • Interact with the children to support exploration, discovery and learning
  • Present expectations appropriate to the child's age and development
  • Plan and implement activities that develop social and emotion learning
  • Communicate appropriately, accurately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
  • Create care and early learning for children cooperatively, collaboratively and collegially
  • Document and reflectively respond to daily observations of children's interactions with others in the care and early learning setting
  • Continue learning and implement strategies that promote each child's safety and success
