- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including catering, audiovisual equipment, room setup, and dcor.
- Create detailed event timelines and communicate requirements to relevant departments.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the planning process and during events.
- Conduct site inspections with clients and provide recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including catering, housekeeping, and facilities, to ensure smooth execution of events.
- Anticipate and address any issues or concerns that may arise during events, providing timely solutions.
- Manage event budgets and ensure expenses are within approved limits.
- Maintain accurate records of event details, including contracts, correspondence, and invoices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in conference and event management.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in conference services or event management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Certification in event planning or hospitality management is a plus.
