- Lead the process of confirming various trades (FX, Commodities, Investments, Commercial paper etc) executed by the Front Office with the financial institutions.
- Maintain standard settlement instructions within the Treasury management system to enable settlements of various trades.
- Partner with liquidity team to ensure sufficient cash is available to settle all trades, partner with various teams to execute any close out trades if needed.
- Execute timely settlement of all trades with counterparties.
- Perform operational reconciliation to ensure that all cash movements to settle the trades have been reconciled.
- Complete regulatory reporting requirements associated with trades are completed on time.
- Manage the process of generating and updating legal entity identifiers (LEI's) for each entity that is required to execute trades.
- Setup master data review in Treasury Management System & ensure periodic reviews.
- Support ad-hoc projects.
- Bachelors in finance or accounting is preferred or equivalent knowledge & experience from an accredited university or college.
- Experience in a Treasury function OR Markets function at a financial institution.
- Excellent communication skills in various forms, including verbal, written and presentational.
- Treasury Management System knowledge.
- Managing relationships; able to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people at all levels both internal and external.
- Resilience, there are many pressures within the role which are related to both time and the need to make appropriate decisions within a dynamic environment.
- Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
- Prior experience in working on Quantum (FIS)
