Transfer Pricing Analyst - Houston, United States - Vision
Description
The Transfer Pricing Analyst will report to the Transfer Pricing Manager in the Corporate Tax Department. The Transfer Pricing Analyst will aid in developing, implementing, analyzing, documenting, and defending transfer pricing policies.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze financial statement details and prepare periodic calculations of proposed transfer pricing adjustments to ensure that material intercompany transactions are at arm's length.
- Prepare intercompany management fees, royalties, and other calculations and invoices. Create/keep related intercompany agreements.
- Review current transfer pricing policies for alignment with tax compliance and business aims and propose changes as necessary under the direction of the Transfer Pricing Manager and Senior Analyst.
- Prepare and/or aid thirdparty service providers in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation reports and other compliance deliverables by US and foreign requirements and/or the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines.
- Assist the Senior Analyst with the preparation and analysis of CountrybyCountry (CbC) Reports in the US and other districts, as needed.
- Draft functional analyses with direction and supervision from the Transfer Pricing Manager and Senior Analyst. Prepare questionnaires and data requests to gather necessary financial and descriptive information from business segments. Participate annually in business segment interviews to gather necessary financial and descriptive information that supplements various transfer pricing analyses.
- Aid with drafting responses to notices and inquiries from various tax authorities, when necessary.
- Communicate professionally with worldwide operational personnel and outside consultants.
- Maintain regular communication with the Transfer Pricing Manager and Senior Analyst on project status to ensure deadlines are met and aims achieved.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Master's in Taxation, Business Administration, Economics, or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 03 years of experience in transfer pricing, tax, accounting, financial analysis, or similar roles.
- Ability in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Must be able to perform quantitative analysis using complex Excel models.
- Experience with Corptax or similar tax software preferred.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication, as well as analytical and critical thinking skills. Working knowledge of business and tax research.
- Ability to manage workstreams in an effective, independent, and efficient manner.
Pay:
$70, $85,000.00 per year
