    Description

    We are seeking an experienced and qualified leader to join our client's team as an Accounting Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and evaluating the day-to-day accounting operations in compliance with GAAP. This person will lead the accounting team and coordinate the month-end closing process, financial reporting, and audits. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication and leadership skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement accounting strategies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
    • Oversee daily accounting operations and supervise the accounting team.
    • Coordinate the month-end closing process and ensure timely completion of all closing aspects.
    • Prepare financial statements and coordinate bank compliance reporting.
    • Supervise fixed asset system and construction in process accounting.
    • Administer accounting policies in accordance with GAAP and identify improvement opportunities.
    • Establish consistent and standardized accounting policies.
    • Assist with annual audits and external reporting.
    • Recruit, hire, train, and develop the accounting team.
    • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA certification.
    • 6-8 years of accounting and leadership experience.
    • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
    • Experience with multi-ledger and multi-divisional accounting, including intercompany accounting.
    • Proficiency in process improvement and transformational opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
    • Excellent knowledge and experience with accounting software and databases
