- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct regular financial reviews, variance analysis, and trend analysis to identify areas of improvement and support decision-making.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, customer invoicing, and collections.
- Maintain vendor and customer relationships, resolve payment discrepancies, and ensure timely payments and receivables collection.
- General Ledger and Month-End Close:
- Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, adjustments, and financial reporting deadlines.
- Compliance and Audit Support:
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in audits, both internal and external, by providing documentation, explanations, and support during audit processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
- Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting roles, preferably in the construction industry or related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and GAAP.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Viewpoint, etc.); proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
