We are seeking a Food and Beverage leader to join our team as a

Restaurant General Manager .

This role is perfect for someone with a passion for hospitality and the ability to effectively manage the front and back of house teams.

As a GM, you will assist in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide guidance, support, and direction to restaurant staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
Ensure that guests receive exceptional service and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Execute the vision of the Souvlaki brand with employees and customers.
Interview, hire, and train new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
Responsible for inventory of restaurant operations.
Provide ongoing coaching, support and evaluations to enhance team performance.
Create and maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels while managing labor costs effectively.
Monitoring and controlling expenses, including food and labor costs, to maximize profitability.
Uphold high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and overall restaurant appearance.
Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards at all times.

Qualifications

3 years experience in the restaurant industry
ServSafe Certification
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and industry trends
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality management is a plus
