Description

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a General Manager at the Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI).

As a GM, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of wheelchair assistance and other passenger assistance services.

You will coordinate with duty managers, supervisors, and dispatch to ensure the safe and timely assistance of passengers to and from their flights.

In addition, you will perform safety audits, meet with airline leadership, conduct briefings, and ensure compliance with Prospect and airline regulations.

You will report to the Regional Director of Operations and be responsible for all business aspects of the operation.


Responsibilities:


  • Plan, schedule, and direct employees in their daily assignments for passenger assistance services.
  • Coordinate with duty managers, supervisors, and dispatch to ensure safe and timely passenger assistance.
  • Perform safety audits to maintain the highest levels of safety standards.
  • Meet with airline leadership to discuss operational matters and provide updates.
  • Conduct briefings to communicate important information to employees.
  • Ensure compliance with Prospect and airline regulations and complete compliance items on time.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist passengers as needed.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Work in a dynamic environment with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Display compassion and empathy towards passengers.

Qualifications:


  • Valid driver's license or state ID and ability to pass a federal background check
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on passenger satisfaction
  • Dependable, selfmotivated, and responsible, with reliable transportation
  • Ability to work a flexible, rotating schedule, including nights, early mornings, and weekends
  • Prior leadership and aviation experience is required

Pay:
$65, $70,000.00 per year
