- Responsible for the daily processing of customer orders
- Maintains the purchase order inbox
- Creates and send purchase order acknowledgments
- Responsible for providing timely responses to customer service inquiries including order status on a daily basis in the communication preferred by customers (fax, telephone, and/or email)
- Creates sales orders based on incoming MC purchase orders
- Process and enter MC jobs and forward to Engineering as necessary
- Provides weekly status reports to relevant customers
- Weekly maintenance duties of customer websites
- Serves as the main point of customer contact for all make-complete (FC, PC, SC) customer correspondence
- Receives customers' orders via phone, email or hardcopy and enters and/or updates them in company ERP system as needed
- Contact vendors for pricing and lead times when MC jobs are created-negotiate as necessary to meet customer demands
- Review Pick List to sell overrun stock
- Monitor and report delivery pull-ins
- Update ERP system to change customer accounts for new and removed sales reps
- Cross-train with others as needed
- Noise intensity level exposed with this job Moderate
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service role
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Teamwork ability and experience
- Excellent data entry skills
- Typing speed of 50 WPM minimum
- Ability to build good relationships with team members and with customers
- Ability to lift/carry Less than 10 pounds
