Summary:
Optic Nerve Eyewear seeks a Regional Sales Manager to join our 15 member team in Wheat Ridge, CO - just 20 minutes from downtown Denver. This role seeks candidates with at least 3 years of Sales Management or Sales experience. Eyewear industry experience is prized but not required. Experience managing independent reps and large key accounts is preferred. This is a full time, fully benefited position.

Summary of the Role:
Grow the business in the Eastern US by managing, mentoring, and holding accountable, the independent sales agencies in this territory. Assist sales agents in acquiring and growing independent and key accounts in the region. Attending tradeshows and territory travel as needed. Assisting the VP of Sales in achieving overall company sales and profitability goals.
In the first 30 days you will meet your sales teams and major accounts and develop a basic understanding of their business and priorities. You'll also get caught up to speed on Optic Nerve's lineup of products. In the first 90 days you will feel confident managing your team on your own
Your New Team:
This position will manage 4 Independent Sales agencies in the Eastern US. You will report to the VP of Sales and Marketing and work closely with the marketing department, and operations.

A fantastic communicator via phone, print, or in-person, you are able to work with buyers and quickly identify their needs and opportunities. Your solutions-oriented approach leaves both your key accounts and company mutually delighted.
You have the experience and knowledge to manage and grow your $400-$500K book of business.
Your skills allow you to manage and grow your key accounts along with any others that are opened by your team.
You understand how to grow buying groups like Worldwide, and Grassroots Outdoor Alliance.
You're able to see the forest through the trees and will use tracking tools to focus your team on growing current business, opening new business, and achieving company sales goals.
You're seeking a dynamic work atmosphere with people who enjoy showing up to the office but also might love getting outside. Occasional trade show and rep co-travel is something you look forward to. Potential shows include: SURF, GOA, Worldwide, Las Vegas Souvenir Show, and various regional rep shows.

A day in the life may include:
In House Account Sales
● Reaching out to souvenir oriented house accounts for re-orders
● Managing the print approval process to ensure custom print jobs are shipped correctly.
Sales Agency Management
● Bi-weekly sync calls with agency members to review progress on sales and account goals.
● Preparing for key account meetings by working with your rep to analyze sales data and create sales decks.
Sales Management
● Working with the various cross functional teams of Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to share feedback on customer needs and help plan for the future success of the company.
● Work closely with the VP of Sales and Marketing to ensure monthly, quarterly, and yearly top line and bottom line goals are met.
● Tradeshow preparation.
● Reviewing the daily order book to ensure orders get out in a timely manner.
You provide:
● At least 3 years of customer service experience
● At least 1-2 years in a supervisory role
● Excellent proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new software quickly
