    IT Support Analyst


    Your role
    Are you an expert when it comes to Trading applications with Linux back ends? Do you have a track record of influencing senior IT stakeholders and business partners? Do you have proven ability to solve complex issues, covering both technical and business needs?

    Were looking for a IT support analyst to provide critical real-time support of Trading applications for the Program Trading, Single Stock, Central Risk book Trading Desks and Quantative Trading Desk.


    support the service & product manager across several technical domains
    ensure workflows, processes, tooling and applications are of the highest quality standard
    contribute expertise to the management of existing and new IT products and services
    define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements
    maintain a knowledge database


    Your team
    Youll be working in the IB Hosting Services Equities CASH team in New York. We provide real-time support of trading applications. This benefits our Banking Equities Cash Traders. As an IT support analyst, youll play an important role in both the stability and smooth operation of technology for the Cash trading systems
    Your expertise ideally 5-6 years of hands-on experience with application support in a UNIX-Linux environment
    excellent hands on knowledge of scripting technologies (shell, python, perl)
    bility to solve complex issues, good at problem statement analysis and solution design thinking
    track record of influencing senior IT stakeholders and business partners
    confident communicator that can explain technology to non-technical audiences
    capable of understanding client needs and translating this into products and services

    Application support in a UNIX-Linux environment
    scripting technologies (shell, python, perl)
