    Job Summary:

    The Sales Manager is responsible for the development and performance of sales activities within an assigned market. Strives to expand the company's customer base and provides leadership and expertise towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision.

    Primary Skills & Responsibilities:

    Skills:

    • Outside sales experience with a history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals
    • Ability to manage all aspects of the selling cycle from negotiation to close
    • Ability to professionally communicate with company personnel and external customers
    • Highly developed interpersonal and presentation skills
    • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to multi-task
    • Ability to operate within an individual and team environment
    • Proficient computer skills
    • Ability to independently travel, must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
    Responsibilities:
    • Maintain knowledge of capabilities and their applications in the industry to effectively communicate about machining types of parts
    • Develop, foster, and sustain relationships with new and existing customers
    • Identify customer needs and resolve concerns with solutions
    • Prepare and present quotations and proposals
    • Negotiate and close orders at optimum prices with terms and conditions
    • Assist in expediting orders to maintain positive customer relationships
    • Develop and implement tactical sales plans for sustainable growth
    • Report sales forecasts, order activity, negotiations, pricing, and competitive information
    • Stay informed of market/industry trends and competitive positioning
    • Coordinate customer-related sales activities like presentations, training, promotions
    Education:
    • Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in marketing services
    Other Requirements:
    • Up to 75% travel
    • Drug test and background check required
    • No sponsorship for visa available must be a US Citizen
    Requirements

    5 years experience selling capital and automotive equipment

    Current knowledge in automotive trends related to propulsion and automation

    US Citizenship
