    Description

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner with a strong background in data analytics and a deep understanding of the insurance sector. As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and enhancement of our insurance products by translating business needs into actionable requirements and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring alignment of product vision and priorities.
    • Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on market trends, customer feedback, and data analysis.
    • Proficiency in managing complex projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines. Experience with agile methodologies and tools like Jira is essential.
    • Lead agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
    • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality product increments.
    • Continuously monitor product performance and iterate based on user feedback and data-driven insights.
    • Hands-on experience with SQL, data warehousing solutions, ETL processes, and PySpark

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • Proven experience (6+ years) working as a Product Owner or similar role in the insurance industry.
    • Strong background in data analytics, including proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools.
    • Solid understanding of agile development methodologies and experience with agile tools such as JIRA.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in one or more programming languages relevant to data engineering, such as Python, Java, or Scala.
    • Familiarity with insurance products, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
    • Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or similar credentials is a plus.
