- Make 60 calls per day and send follow up emails from a curated list of prospective customers.
- Perform thorough discovery to learn about the businesses of each prospect you speak to.
- Educate potential customers about the benefits of our online auction solution.
- Set up 8-10 appointments per week for our sales executives.
- 1 year of sales experience. Prior software sales experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to make high volume outbound metrics: Cold calling, email, etc.
- Ambition that is internally motivated.
- Strong communication skills via phone and email.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.

Job DescriptionSales Development Representative–Raleigh (hybrid)Our client is a Raleigh, NC - based, Inc. 500 company that provides a disruptive technology platform for online auctions. The fast growing company is seeking a responsible and motivated self-starter to find and screen potential customers who could benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal Sales Development Representative (SDR) has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales closers for success. The SDR should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for boosting top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.
This is a hybrid position. The candidate must be based in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, North Carolina area.
