    Office Assistant
    Location: Beaumont, TX
    Pay Range: $18 - $20 hr.
    Temp to Hire

    • Perform various administrative duties, including answering phones, taking accurate information, filing, making copies, scanning documents, and maintaining office supplies.
    • Provide general support to visitors and keep weekly safety meeting minutes.
    • Schedule safety training sessions (HASC, SCTC, ISTC) and order drug tests (FMCSA Random and WTR when needed) through DISA.
    • Complete timesheets and submit every Monday morning, including any time-off request forms.
    • Handle billing invoices daily to customers using QuickBooks and Contractor Foreman, addressing customer inquiries about invoicing, payments, and credits, and processing credit cards via QB.
    • Ensure all relevant documents such as purchase orders, customer account changes, tax forms, or official letters are attached to QB and kept up-to-date.
    • Manage vendor invoices by verifying packing lists, coding invoices, and posting them to QB.
    • Assist the Vice President and technicians with scheduling, quoting, and general duties while they are out of the office.
