    Summary
    Full life-cycle responsibility for company owned vehicles and fleet analysis.
    Essential Functions

    The Division Fleet Manageris responsible for planning, directing, managing,coordinating,and supervising the programs for acquisition, upfit, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement,and disposal of fleet vehicles while maintaining alignment to the corporate strategy.

    Work with Division leaders and vendors to establish standard vehicle specifications per divisional recommendations, as well as leveraging corporate buying power for high-expense items – i.e.

    vehicle tires, fuel, parts, etc.
    Partner with Safety leaders to promote vehicle and driver safety and compliance.
    Monitor industry trends and make recommendations/decisions based on fleet data analysis.
    Utilize dashboards and reporting to drive performance metrics.
    Maintain lowest cost per mile with maximum fleet up time.
    Manage 3 rd party vendor relationships.
    Prepare assets for deployment to assigned locations.
    Develop relationships with internal business partners and communicate timely updates on new vehicle acquisitions.
    Provide innovative thought to stay nimble; evolve along with a growing business.
    Maintain master vehicle list and driver assignment in selected software.
    Track and enforce routine maintenance procedures and schedules.
    Track, Maintain, and Store Inspections (government and internal).
    Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     Education and/or Experience
    Minimum 5-7 years fleet management experience with Class 1-8 vehicles. Vehicle procurement and upfit experience preferred.
    Bachelor's degree or comparable educational background
    Good understanding of DOT compliance requirements for commercial vehicles
    Strong analytical skills
    Good understanding of vehicle service intervals
    Effective communication and presentation skills
    Computer Skills

    Understands and utilizes current technology, strong computing skills, skilled in the Microsoft suite of business software, Smartsheet, Power BI, and SAP.

    Language Skills
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
    Mathematical Skills
    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and
    geometry.
    Reasoning Ability

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

    Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
