    About the Role
    As a Financials Account Executive, you will collaborate in business development, targeting potential key accounts. Your proven success in selling cloud-based Financial applications and products to new enterprise accounts indicates you are an ideal fit for this position.

    Role & Responsibilities

    • Ability to navigate complex sales, function effectively in a team sales environment, and possess robust project management abilities. If you have a stellar track record in sales focused on strategic accounts, are self-motivated, and thrive in a dynamic setting, then Workday is the ideal workplace for you.
    • Initiates and manages sales cycles, optimizing the suite of Workday Financial products including Accounting, Planning, and Expense Management. You will steer the sales process, handle negotiations, finalize customer agreements, and execute closing plans with potential enterprise accounts.
    • Utilize your expertise and consultative sales skills to establish lasting relationships with potential customers at the executive level.
    • Leverage your extensive background in Financials and ERP to stimulate demand for Cloud Financial Management in the market. Apply your consultative selling skills to effectively position Workday as a compelling ERP Financial solution.
    • Coordinates, collaborates, and provides guidance to various team members and sales/services resources with a touch of humor.

    About YouBasic Qualifications

    • ~8+ years of experience in software sales, including participation in team sales.
    • ~5+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud-based ERP, Financial, or Planning solutions to C-level executives in large corporations.
    • ~5+ years of experience in finance or working closely with finance executives.

    Other Qualifications

    • Solid financial product knowledge and confidence in building relationships through business-oriented discussions with CFOs and their finance teams. Experience in driving business transformations in medium to large companies, preferably across diverse industries.
    • Demonstrated capability in owning and supporting complex sales cycles from inception to completion. Proven success in transformational and consultative selling, strategy development, and proficient negotiation.
    • Quick understanding of business challenges and ability to devise solutions. An understanding of the current responsibilities and obstacles in the Finance function, with a keenness to co-create desired business solutions.
    • Enjoy collaborating within a team and sharing best practices to enhance overall success. We believe in a continuous learning mindset.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills to instill urgency in closing new business. Proficient in maintaining accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data.

    Workday Pay Transparency Statement
    The base salary range for the primary location and any additional locations is as follows. Salary ranges at Workday vary by work location. As part of the overall compensation package, this role may qualify for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, along with annual stock grants.

    Details about compensation will be provided by recruiters during the hiring process. The final compensation offer will be determined based on several factors such as location, experience, skills, job responsibilities, and business requirements, among other considerations.
