- Coordinates and facilitates training for assigned contracts via webcast in the Sourcewell studio and/or through group meetings and presentations.
- Coordinates and facilitates client informational trainings via webcasts, Sourcewell studio and or through group meetings and presentations.
- Maintains a direct line of communication with upper and lower sales management levels.
- Implements systematic outreach of information to awarded vendors to ensure company's embracement of the awarded contract.
- Uses established communication methods, sales strategies and value message to awarded vendors.
- Implements new communication methods, sales strategies and marketing strategies dependent upon sales structure and product or service of awarded vendor.
- Ensures presence and maximum conference exhibiting and media exposures for major accounts and member verticals.
- Establishes and implements both a business plan and education plan to ensure contract embracement and growth.
- Implements a distribution program of catalogs and other Sourcewell promotional marketing materials.
- Assists awarded vendors in the creation of marketing strategies and material pertaining to their product/service market segment.
- Assists with business development by conducting research amongst all current and potential solicitation categories assigned.
- Coordinates with the Procurement Department to ensure that contracts are awarded and administered in an efficient manner.
- Ensures effective communication within the Supplier Development and Procurement Departments throughout the entire solicitation cycle.
- Coordinates and facilitates contract development which includes the following:
- Assisting in the creation of amendments that create efficiency to the contract.
- Facilitates contract overview which establishes evidence to renew or terminate awarded contracts.
- Maintains proper vendor documentation on all Sourcewell marketing materials and Sourcewell Website.
- Supports vendors in the entire communication process involving current and potential members.
- Ensures accurate Sourcewell contract message is effectively communicated and embraced by the vendor and the sales management team, dealers and sales representatives.
- Ensures customer contract comfort and satisfaction through vendor training.
- Participates in various national tradeshows booths communicating the Sourcewell message, contract value and membership benefits.
- Act as initial touch point for potential vendor inquiries, performing initial screening, maintain potential vendor database.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Sales, Marketing or related field of study OR
- A combination of related post-secondary and/or professional education and demonstrated relevant work experience with vendor management, sales, sales training or other closely related fields equivalent to a total of 4 years.
- Demonstrated effective communication, presentation, and training skills
- Minimum of two years of experience in vendor management, sales, or sales training in a business to business capacity
- Minimum of two years of experience working in a Group Purchasing organization
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Any of the following related certifications CPCM (Certified Professional Contracts Manager), CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CPPB (Certified Professional Public Buyer), CPP (Certified Purchasing Professional
- Five years of experience in advanced sales and marketing management
- Experience in public procurement and/or government contracting
