Overview

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team at our Green Bay, WI location. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a key role in developing new retail sales and nurturing relationships with Garmin specialty and technical dealers while also serving as a primary contact for many of our partners. This role involves traveling to important tradeshows and regional events, attending meetings with customers and industry partners, and supporting onsite activities.

Key Responsibilities

Organize and conduct product training sessions for key customers
Develop and execute strategies to enhance market share and profitability
Create and implement sales plans and promotions, achieve sales goals, and maintain sales forecasts
Collaborate with business partners to establish new programs for both retail and consumer markets
Utilize product knowledge to devise appealing sales approaches for potential dealers
Share Garmin product knowledge with dealers and maintain ongoing relationships
Conduct training sessions for dealer networks with minimal supervision, tailoring training to meet specific customer needs
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential and existing clients
Effectively communicate market needs to product development teams
Participate in and organize trade shows and events
Represent Garmin at industry meetings, trade shows, and conferences with minimal supervision, and provide timely trip reports
Manage large accounts efficiently and stay informed about product/pricing details

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree AND at least 1 year of sales and marketing experience with a proven sales track record OR a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience including outside sales or retail sales
Highly motivated sales professional with a successful sales history
Customer-oriented with strong relationship-building skills and a focus on quality customer service
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical abilities with attention to detail and the capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel frequently (50%-75% of the time or more)

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree
Internal Garmin experience in roles like Regional Training Specialist or Inside Sales Representative
Comprehensive knowledge of communication and navigation systems
Understanding of sales division products and relevant industries (e.g., marine, outdoor, running, golf, cycling)
Extensive personal involvement in fishing and boating
Experience in Business to Business sales
