- Oversee day-to-day corporate accounting operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives.
- Assist in the implementation and enhancement of accounting systems and processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends, and apply knowledge to enhance accounting practices within the organization.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting, with a background in the Big 4 (or Big 8) public accounting firms.
- Public/Private Mix or straight from Public Accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong working relationships across departments.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
