Our client, a global Fintech company based in CA is seeking a
Senior Accountant
on a 100% Remote basis.
Contract (W2 Non-Exempt)
100% Remote
Pay:
$55-$60/hr. DOE
About the role:
The position is primarily responsible for overseeing the accounting for the prepayment space.
This includes various month-end duties such as preparing journal entries, maintaining account reconciliations, and working on ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Additionally, they will work closely with business partners, and finance partners on accounting related matters.Responsibilities :
Gather financial data and ledgers.
Consolidate and analyze financial statements and results.
Prepare budgets and monitor expenditures.
Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
Manage periodical reporting.
Review general ledger accounts and prepare and adjust journal entries.
Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and if applicable inter-company general ledger accounts.
Post monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals.
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Education :
Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
Professional Certification (e.g. CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) credential.
