Description
Orlando Health is seeking a full-time BC/BE Medical Oncology/Hematology attending Physicians for our Orlando Health Cancer Institute.
Locations: St. Cloud Hospital, Kissimmee, Florida and Dr. Phillips Hospital, Orlando, Florida
Applicants must be fellowship trained with Board Certification in medical oncology and hematology and be eligible for licensure/work in the state of Florida. Candidate's responsibilities include in-patient and consultation service, out-patient clinics, clinical research, and chemo supervision. Applicants' responsibilities will include managing both malignant cancers, and hematology diagnosis.
Ideal candidates are leaders in their field. Have a track record of education and experience with multi-disciplinary care.
The Orlando Health Cancer Institute has an established clinical research program, a successful medical oncology/hematology fellowship program, and robust medical oncology, surgical oncology and radiation oncology departments. We also have a large integrative medicine department which includes cancer support community and a medical genetics team. The Cancer Institute includes divisions of surgical, medical, and radiation oncology, with a sub specialized focused on cancer care, serving the patients with our tertiary center downtown, as well as services at our 4 regional cancer institutes throughout central Florida. The cancer institute provided care to 11,000 new patients and 90,000 follow up visits last year.
