We are currently looking for a Senior Vice President to join our Orlando, Central Florida Branch. This leadership role will involve reporting to the Branch Manager and working closely with the branch's Executive Vice President to enhance the branch's recruiting, training, and development strategies for Sales Associates and District Managers in the Orlando, FL office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a business plan that aligns with the overall strategies of the Branch and Complex, focusing on recruitment, hiring, production, mentoring, development, and compliance supervision. It is important for the SVP to be based near the branch and work onsite at the office for a minimum of 4 days per week. Key Job Responsibilities: Principal Accountabilities: - Recruiting and Hiring: Create and manage district-level recruiting plans to meet hiring targets for top-performing associates. - Training and Development: Devise individual sales goals and targets, mentor associates, and increase profitability by retaining top talent. - Leadership Development: Identify and nurture future leaders within the team. Supervision: Ensure compliance with regulatory rules for Financial Professionals and maintain a strong compliance culture within the branch. Performance expectations include achieving positive branch exam results and fostering team cohesiveness. This role offers variable compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - FINRA Series 7, 24, 53, and 66 (or 63 & 65) registrations - State Life and Health insurance licenses - 7 years of experience as a Financial Advisor - 5 years of experience in Sales Management - 10 years of experience in the financial services/insurance industry Preferred Qualifications: - CLU, ChFC, and/or CFP certifications are advantageous - Proven track record in hiring, developing, and retaining financial professionals - Demonstrated success in leadership roles - Ability to make informed business decisions in collaboration with branch leadership - Proficiency in managing multiple locations across a wide geographic area - Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and managerial skills - Exceptional communication and coaching abilities - Comprehensive knowledge of financial products, market planning, and compliance standards - Clean compliance record with no significant disciplinary actions or sales practice deficiencies ABOUT EQUITABLE: Equitable is a diverse team of over ten thousand professionals dedicated to helping clients achieve financial security and lead fulfilling lives.
