    We are well underway on this journey with YugabyteDB, the open source, high-performance, distributed SQL database that runs on any cloud and enables developers to get instantly productive using well-known APIs.

    We announced a $188M Series C round at a $1.3B valuation in October 2021, however we very much believe we are still in the early stages of our company's journey.

    The transactional database market is estimated to grow from $40B in 2021 to $64B by 2025.

    Given our database is cloud-native by design, has on-demand horizontal scalability, and allows for geographical distribution of data using built-in replication, we are extremely well-positioned to address the market need for geo-distributed, high-scale, high-performance workloads.

    We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated and detail-oriented People Operations Specialist to join the Yugabyte People Team.

    As a member of this dynamic team, you will focus on delivering an extraordinary employee experience, building positive relationships with our employees, and cultivating a company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.

    Role and ResponsibilitiesManaging day-to-day People operations activities including onboarding (background screenings, I-9 processing), employee data management, benefits administration, and off-boardingEnsuring People operations are compliant with company policies and procedures, legal requirements, and industry best practicesAdministering People systems and tools, including HRIS, benefits administration systems, and other related systemsWorking closely with cross-functional teams such as Finance, IT etc.

    to ensure the timely execution of employee transactionsAnalyzing People data and metrics, produce reports, and recommend solutions for improvementDeveloping and implementing People policies and proceduresProviding administrative support with various People projects and initiatives (ex. open enrollment, HR technology implementation, employee events, trainings, etc.)

    Required ExperienceBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field4-6 years of relevant experience in HR operations, HRIS(ADP) and benefits administrationKnowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures, legal requirements, and industry best practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Human Resources systems and tools, including ADP Workforce Now (HRIS & payroll software), benefits administration systems, and other related systemsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneouslyNice to have:

    Start up/scaling up experience in People functionWorked in/for Global regions including UK, India, Singapore, and CanadaCompensation and BenefitsWe are committed to the principle of equal pay for equal work.

    The cash compensation for this role is market-competitive, ranging from $75,000 to $90,000. Additional benefits include equity options, comprehensive health plans, retirement benefits, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).
