Axsome Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Director, Digital Centric Marketing who will be responsible for developing and executing digital strategies within Axsome's Digital-Centric Commercialization platform.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Digital Centric Commercialization, this role leads the development and execution of marketing initiatives aligned with asset strategies and objectives.
The Associate Director collaborates cross-functionally with Brands, Sales, Market Access, Data & Market Analytics, and other internal and external partners.
This role is based at Axsome's HQ in New York City with an on-site requirement of at least three days per week.
Job Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Drive the development and implementation of integrated, multi-channel Healthcare Professional (HCP) campaign strategies and tactics to direct healthcare professionals to Axsome customer touchpoints.
Lead the development and implementation of digital field tools and resources designed to extend reach, frequency, and impact to HCPs.
Lead reviews of promotional materials with Regulatory/Legal/Medical.
Collaborate effectively with sales and marketing, market access, patient support, market research, medical affairs, commercial operations, data and analytics, finance, and other cross-functional partners.
/ Qualifications
BA or BS; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology marketing
Strong digital marketing aptitude and experience
Ability to work on site Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
Experience and Knowledge:
Demonstrated proactive, creative and entrepreneurial approach
Experience in Generative AI / Business AI
Experience developing, implementing, and working on successful multichannel campaigns
CNS disease experience and/or launch experience
Proven ability to run multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment, comfortable with uncertainty and high expectations
Strong project and process management skills, including competency in agency management and budget management
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Salary and Benefits:
The anticipated salary range for this role is $140,000 - $170,000. We encourage candidates of all levels to apply as there may be flexibility on final job title and responsibilities. The salary offer will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, internal equity and location. Axsome offers a competitive employment package that includes an annual bonus, significant equity and a generous benefits package.
