    Position Highlights


    Title:
    Account Manager, Southeast


    • Full Time Direct Hire
    Background Requirements


    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Management, Engineering, or equivalent,
    • Experience selling elastomers
    • 5-7 years technical marketing, engineering, or sales experience in the plastics industry.
    • Outside sales experience and/or Product development experience is preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop new business and achieve profitable sales in highly competitive markets.
    Job Responsibilities


    • Develops sales strategies and action plans for identified targets of opportunity.
    • Secures orders from existing and potential Customers by means of visiting the Customer facility or contacting by phone.
    • Obtains Customer specifications and secures opportunities to quote on Customer requirements.
    • Follows up (by phone or visit) on quotations submitted to Customers.
    • Establishes professional Customer/Vendor relationships with appropriate Customer personnel (Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Management, other key personnel).
